The hotel

Built in the 18th century as a residence for the Dutch governor and, later, for Simon Bolivar, Avila in over sixty years of history has been able to conquer a special place, so much so that it has been chosen by King William during his visits to the island . The structure, perfectly restored and enlarged over the years, is a real jewel, perfect even in the details. You can choose to stay in the old part of the hotel with its sober and elegant atmospheres, or in the Blues Wing Rooms, created in an entirely wooden structure designed by the famous architect Duckham. Or finally in the brand new Octagon with its terraces with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The 2 private beaches, the freshwater infinity pool, the high-tech gym, and the treatments at the Santai Spa do the rest.
